Return to the Old House.

This location I found near Manchester and Return to the Old House was shot there Spring 2011.

Each area/room was different, no additional lighting was used.

I chose to shoot there in the early afternoon, a few hours and three changes later we were done.

London Olympics 2012 not far away now.

Over this weekend and early next week the Diamond Jubilee celebrations mark 60 years of The Queen's reign. I saw her as a little boy when she visited my hometown, how exciting that was then.

Closing in though are the Olympics.

The opening and closing ceremony's I am sure will be a fantastic event.



Laura-Ann one of the dancers I worked with last year, she is part of the team with the mammoth task organising these shows for want of a better word.

Below is a video I made for Laura to showcase her choreography featuring her all girl team of dancers, it was titled Body Shop.



This video was shot is a car body shop, hence where the title originates, shooting this was easy in all honesty a bit of fill light in both shooting locations and we were good to go.

Editing on the other hand was a different matter, matching up the sequences and rendering seemed to take for ages.

Well in the end it was all worth the effort.

Olympics 2012 can't wait.

Marcquelle Ward dancer and actor photoshoot.

Marcquelle Ward dancer and actor came to my studio for a photoshoot last week

Again as you would expect with someone with an established profile it was both easy and enjoyable.

He was a blast to work with and has already accomplished so much in his young career.

In sport he has worked with the brand NIKE and his dance took him to appear as a judge in TV's  DanceX a reality television dance show produced in the UK for BBC One

We produced a dance video, which he liked at the first attempt so here it is.

 

So that's Marcquelle, I am sure there we will be seeing a lot more of him in the future.  

The Mend on Britain's Got Talent BGT.

The Mend have been great to watch on Britain's Got Talent BGT. 

Originally put together by none of than Nigel Martin Smith, who was the mastermind behind non other than Take That.

Time passes quickly and it seem's only like yesterday I recorded the lads doing their first live on stage performance.

At the time the lads sounded and looked the part.

While the video was running I grabbed a few frames on my other camera

Let's see what the future brings for them in the future, hopefully great success.

Lucien Laviscount single 'Dance With You' released.

Lucien Laviscount single Dance with You has just been released, he is a recording artist and actor.

Lucien is set to release his debut single 'Dance With You' with US Hip-Hop aritst Mann.

All shoots are different, this shoot was a breeze, and great fun, he walked in we grabbed a few frames he liked a lot so we got on with it and made a heap more.

If only all shoots were that easy

Chevron GR8 GT3, Motor Racing 2012

Chevron GR8 out in testing at Oulton Park.

The Chevron GR8 GT3 is a new car for 2012, at the time of testing the opening round of the 2012 British GT Championship was only a week away.

Along side the new car final tests were being made to the updated GR8 GTC spec car

The GT3 car has extra power from a larger engine and increased speed over last years GTC spec car.

Featuring a wider track and a more muscular styling the start line is only a week away.

The Chevron GR8 cars will be competing alongside powerful supercars like Ferrari's 458, McLaren's MP4-12C, Aston Martin and Mercedes.

Round 1 of the 2012 British GT Championship is at Oulton Park Monday 9th April.
